The countryside of Tuscany draws equally as many visitors as the cities. Picture the rolling landscape ripe with vineyards and olive groves. Partial to the sea? Perhaps the Amalfi Coast or Sicily would suit your desire for crashing waves and fresh seafood. Northern Italy holds culinary and shopping promise, with Milan and Cinque Terre.
